Add YouTube Vidoes

We added an extension to The Pet Wiki which allows users to embed videos into the pages. I’ve started adding a few on some of the cat pages.  Finding the videos is the time consuming part. It takes time to watch them to know if they are appropriate. Although the work is very time consuming, at least it’s fun! My current favorite is the one on the Persian page. You can embed YouTube, Google Video, Dailymotion, FunnyOrDie, sevenload, and Revver.

The syntax for adding the videos is a bit weird. Since we are using a WYSIWYG editor, you need to click the Wikitext button to add them. It’s not that big a deal if you know what you are doing. We need to find a way to make adding these videos much more intuitive. It’s a start. There is still so much to do!
