Shira modeling for Tzipporah Designs

It’s so nice to see people grow. I have been watching my daughter’s friends and her grow from first grade all the way through high school. Now that they are finished, it’s time for them to figure out what they are going to do with the rest of their lives.

One of my daughter’s friends has already figured out what she wants to do with her life and is making it happen. Tzipporah Bazer has been sewing for years. She apprenticed with a designer/seamstress before she decided to go out on her own. I have to say that I’m very proud of her.

I want to make it clear that most of the stuff that she’s done has been completely on her own. She’s really been sewing up a storm. Obviously her parents have been very supportive. I’m sure that they’ve done a ton of leg work to get her moving in the right direction. Her friends have helped her with creating logos and making posters, and I’ve set up a blog and help her out with her facebook page and twitter account.

Today, she debuts her Summer 2010 collection at the prestigous art and design show known as Hutzot Hayotzer in Jerusalem.  The show will be running through August 14th. It’s a really fun event. If you’re there, look her up. You can say you knew her when…

Best of luck Tzipporah! We all love you!
